Constructed in 1897 — and the seventh of the distilleries — Glendullan sits on the bank of the River Dullen amongst the picturesque Convall Hills.

Glendullan’s onion-shaped stills produce a delicate spirit with a green apple profile. Most of our product is aged in American oak bourbon barrels, which impart sweetness and a rich nuttiness. A smaller portion of our single malt is aged in fruity European sherry casks.

From Belgium With Love

At Stella Artois, we are extremely proud of our Belgian roots.
Our story can be seen on every bottle of Stella Artois. If you look closely, hints of our origins are proudly displayed.

By 1366 roots of our brewing tradition had been established in the city of Leuven, Belgium– which is also where the original Den Hoorn brewery was founded. Den Hoorn laid the foundation for the quality taste and standard Stella Artois is known for. The symbol of the Den Hoorn Brewery is proudly displayed in Stella Artois’ cartouche to this day.

Sebastian Artois was admitted to the Leuven Brewer’s Guild as a Brew Master in 1708, and only nine years later purchased the Den Hoorn brewery. In memoriam, you can find his last name on the brewery and every bottle of Stella Artois around the world.

The Artois Brewery was so beloved internationally and locally, a special batch was created as a Christmas gift to the people of Leuven. That special batch was the first to officially include “Stella” in its name. “Stella”, meaning star in Latin, pays homage to this original occasion, accompanied by a star on every bottle.

Royal Umbrella Rice emphasizes a lot on the standard and quality starting from the selection of raw materials of high quality. Three rice mills are constructed for directly receiving the raw materials from farmers; Buriram Rice Mill, Kamphaengpetch Rice Mill, and Suphanburi Rice Mill. There are total of more than 30 alliance rice mills. There are 2 plants for rice quality improvement; Wangdaeng Rice Plant and Nakornluang Rice Plant in Ayutthaya. The advanced technology with global standard is used there. The plants are considered to be the most modern ris plants of the regions. The development starts from the selection of rice kinds, the production process, the quality control, and the rigid inspection. It can be traceable in all processes resulting in the high quality of products following international standard. The production standard is under GMP, HACCP, and ISO 9001: 2008. There are 5 productivities with the total volume of 1.66 million tons of rice per year.The company also builds the port for marine transportation system in the nearby areas directly connected to the production plants. It is the first marine transportation system of Thailand which can help in environment conservation. We use motor cargo ships in the export and the transportation of products to domestic warehouses instead of using the trucks in the transportation.

Royal Umbrella Rice expands the market to other types of products which are selected by the company for being export under the brand of “Royal Umbrella” in food products, products related to food and non-food, for example, instant rice vermicelli, instant noodles, Ri-O Thai jasmine rice snack, etc.All achievements occur because we pay attention to and focus on the quality of products, technology, production equipments, as well as the strong marketing plan. We build the network of selling and distributing products around the world. We emphasize on using the strategy to create our brand recognition widely with the products of “Royal Umbrella Rice”, especially-selected rice, and other food products. More importantly, our worldwide personnel are in the rice business. They are the important force leading Royal Umbrella Rice to the highest point of rice business. We received a lot of awards such as the award of Super Brand in Singapore in 2003-2011. In Thailand in 2005-2006, we received the Prime Minister’s Award. In 1995, 2005, and 2011, we received the award from Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce. We received the World Best Rice Award 2009 in Philippines from the World Rice Conference 2009. Recently, we received the “FDA Quality Award” in 2013 which we becomes the only one operator of bagged rice in Thailand to receive this award.

Fever-Tree began in 2003 with a meeting of minds and one simple premise: if three quarters of your G&T is the tonic, wouldn’t you want it to be the best? Our co-founders Charles and Tim, working in different parts of the drinks business, had both spotted that premium spirits were growing quickly, fuelled by consumers’ increasing awareness of the provenance of what they ate and drank.
