Originally from Lleida, in the West of Spain, Oscar Luzon has had a passion for fine dining since the age of 14, when he worked in restaurants on weekends. His natural ability was noticed and led to him working at Michelin Star restaurant, Malena at just 15.
Now leading ZUMA Hong Kong’s world-class culinary team, Oscar has developed his skills within Japanese cuisine for the past 10 years. He joined the ZUMA London team in 2007 and went on to be part of the team to open ZUMA’s award winning sister restaurant Roka. As a key member of the ZUMA group, Oscar has supported and conducted training for the groups’ chefs in Bangkok, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London and New York. Oscar’s innate talent for creating outstanding dishes has helped lead ZUMA Hong Kong to win numerous awards, including Best Bar Food in The Bar Awards 2017.
As a stalwart of the ZUMA team and with experience at some of the world’s top restaurants, including 3 Michelin star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca and 3 Michelin star el Bulli in Spain, Oscar is one of the city’s most experienced fine dining chefs.
